ORDINANCE STATUS: IN EFFECT

Short-term rentals are allowed only in certain overlay zones in Steamboat Springs, and all allowed short-term rentals are required to be licensed.

Steamboat Springs, CO Lodging Taxes

Steamboat Springs recently enacted a new 9% tax on short-term rentals throughout the city, in effect January 1, 2023.
