Becoming a top-ranked host on short-term rental platforms can significantly boost the revenue you bring in from your property.

Top-ranked hosts are referred to as Superhosts on Airbnb and Premier Hosts on Vrbo.

Hosts who earn the Superhost badge on their listings achieve an 81% higher occupancy rate, 60% more revenue, and a 5% improvement in listing traffic, according to 2018 statistics from AirDNA.

“That’s testimony to the fact that so many of the folks that are looking to book short-term rentals are very savvy in social media and very savvy in looking at tools online that support their decision to choose one property over another,” said Kris Leslie-Curtis, a Santa Fe Short-Term Rental Alliance leadership committee member.
