In everything we do, we test and learn. We evaluate conversion rates and net promoter scores and engagement and many other metrics.

One of my favorites, however, is more akin to counting steps on a Fitbit. Each month, I look back at the newsletters from a year and two ago to see how far we’ve come.

In June 2020, tourism was beginning to turn a corner in the early months of Covid. We had published countless stories of our peers stepping up to help in the crisis (#FindtheHelpers) and our landmark Covid-19 Impact Report.

In June of last year, we had just launched our national educational event series and were just about to launch a seminar series created just for local alliance leaders

And now with 14 months of events under our belt – five leader seminars, 13 national events and 12 local alliance events! – and all the insights that came with them, June 2022 will mark another milestone: the launch of our new RR Summit series!

RR Summit • Summer 2022: Paths to Professionalization

July 12-13

Starting this summer, we’ll be hosting full-day multisession virtual conferences bringing together our amazing partners and expert speakers. Our summer 2022 RR Summit, Paths to Professionalization, will feature more than two dozen sessions for operators of any size, from implementing smart practices to leveling up your operations, navigating local laws, scaling sustainably, even web3 and crypto! I am especially excited to cover new topics we haven’t yet gotten to explore, like wellnessaccessibilityinclusivity, and sustainability.

I invite you to stay for all sessions, curate your agenda, network in the lobby – the choice is yours. No matter where you are on your path, you’ll find your next stepping stones at the Summit.

See you along the way,
