CITY OF DALLAS ORDINANCE
Short-term rentals are allowed only in select commercial districts in Dallas. Allowed STRs are also subject to registration and operational requirements.
TEXAS 6% HOTEL OCCUPANCY TAX (HOT)
All short-term rental owners in Texas are subject to the state’s 6% Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT).
